How does hypnotherapy help someone with drug addiction and how successful is it?

Array is my experience, it is not helpful. If the abuser wants to stop, he will. All secondary roads are only detours. And it may be many of them. Users (not only addicts but) tend not to do the work yourself, but want something or someone do it for them. Therefore, rehabs, therapy, hypnosis, you name it. Just let a lot of personal responsibility and assume too much work for some of them, they may not realize that they suffer in a short period of time to stop the suffering in the long run. It would be like delayed gratification and addicts not good at it. Good luck. As a former addict and alcoholic myself.I invite Alcoholics Anonymous only because he is the sole breadwinner, and 12 step program, proof that it worked. All this self-help books and spend a lot progam AA management and the formulation and not on the spiritual aspect or responsibility with them.
