How do I help my wife with depression and drug addiction?

I need some advice to help my wife. You want it all, what is a drug and it takes too depressed. She has been in rehabilitation twice and tried to kill herself. She also overdosed on Tylenol. What should I do? It's pretty serious. The best thing you can do is a doctor (specialized in mental health) to visit. Just make rehabs usually did. If the root of the problem becoz many people do not take rehab seriously address. This is one thing that can be controlled if the mind and not just treat the body. (Try habits, without understanding is of no use change) and let them know that you are always there and will be there. Seeking professional help, especially you do not give up her hold on her, no matter what my mother has a drug problem and had it as far as I can remember remember.I tried to help, along with hospitals, the etc. I realized I can do is pray for her . Good luck and God bless. First, we must understand the responsibilities and the late start I know it's hard for you, but there are limits to what we are capable. It's hard when you have a loved one with an addiction. They often do not realize how much it hurts too much. I suggest you contact Al-Anon, an organization that helps families and friends of drug and alcohol dependent persons. You will learn what you can, and also its limitations. You sound like a caring person. I give him credit for having supported his wife during this difficult period. I hope the best for her and you. u can do all you have to want to surrender. This is probably not the magic answer was expected, but you can not do anything for her. Only she has the ability to fix or ruin your life. You can sit and not try to be your crutch to keep their land in their disease. I'm sure you've heard the term "activate" before. Do not. Whether you are with it or leave it if you have a healthy relationship elsewhere, good luck to you if you can give your wife that she is sick and needs help.then it for an evaluation at a hospital psychiatry . sometimes someone is in crisis, too many options and works better in a hospital inpatient program will deal with this problem every day with help from others who sit in the same boat. Methinks they program.one dual diagnosis, to benefit both to treat his depression and addiction simultaneously. It is important that they get a good response too. Therapy is an effective tool for recovery. You should probably ask for advice, and is affected because of their illness is your life too. Support groups are wonderful.
